The Oiva bowl is made of brown stoneware, which is dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer safe. The bowl features the Unikko pattern and a clear glaze on the inside, while the outside is left unglazed and naturally rough.
Please remove the sticker from the bottom of the product before use. The sticker contains a small amount of metal.
While traveling in Greece in the early 1960s, Maija Isola got inspired by the movement of water and depicted it in several fabric prints, including Seireeni (siren) from 1964. Named after the mythological sirens, the pattern also recalls the enchanting singing that lured sailors into dangerous waters.
